About Us
“She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.”  Proverbs 31:13

Jan Vaine and Lynn Rogers met in 2002 working at a local quilt shop. While working together they both discovered their love for color and design.

Jan is an experienced seamstress, quilter, teacher, and pattern designer. She has over 40 years of sewing and needle work experience. Her love of sewing and designing blossomed into her company "The Graham Cracker Collection".  She was invited by Elly Sienkiewicz, nationally known author and teacher, to be the guest designer of the ancillary projects in Elly's latest book, "Baltimore Elegance", currently available from C&T Publishing.  For the past several years, Jan has taught at the Elly Sienkiewicz Applique Academy in historic Williamsburg, Virginia.  She is also a regular teacher at The Olde Green Cupboard in Jacksonville, Florida.

Lynn is an experienced needle artist and designer in her own right with over 33 years of stitching experience.Through the years she has become skilled in the arts of counted cross stitch, smocking, hand quilting, hand appliqué, and her newest love punch needle embroidery. She has never lost the love of the needle.

Jan and Lynn’s love of needlework and designing brought them together to start the Lil’ PunchNeedl’ Quilts pattern line. Their creative energy and enthusiasm for quilting and needlework is reflected in the patterns available from The Graham Cracker Collection. They taught together at the 2007 Fall International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas.  In the May 2008 American Quilter magazine, they were honored with a featured article.

And Graham…he is Jan's 15 year old Cocker Spaniel.  He has 13 years of sewing room experience, quietly slipping off with fabric pieces, scissor covers, or anything else that his kitty cat sister, Josie, might push on the floor.
Graham's most artistic work was an 18” x 18” miniature reproduction quilt.  The hand quilting was nearly complete when Graham decided to add his special touch.  He delicately chewed holes in two corners.  As the quilt was an antique reproduction, the holes certainly added authenticity.  The piece was framed, with a plaque inscribed “Lovingly made by Jan and Graham”.  And it is with sadness we share that Graham past away in December 2007.  He is dearly missed, but will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Graham

Until we meet,
Happy Stitching!!!  Joyful Punching!!!
